Ford service cost in the UK

RAC's latest published average full-service quote for Ford, compared with its all-make average, plus what can make your own service cost higher or lower.

Pricing checked 10 August 2026

For Ford, the most useful current public benchmark is RAC's make-level full-service quote data. It is an average of quotes rather than a fixed price and it does not replace the service schedule for a particular model, engine or age.

How Ford compares

RAC's published Ford average is £21.28 below its all-make full-service average of £298.60. This comparison uses the same RAC quote dataset, so it is more meaningful than comparing the make average with a different provider's promotional starting price.

What can change a Ford service price?

Model, engine size, vehicle age, oil specification, location and scheduled replacement items can all move a Ford quote away from the make-level average. Performance models and larger engines can be materially more expensive than the brand average.

Full service versus manufacturer service

RAC distinguishes a standard full service from a manufacturer service. If your Ford is under warranty or has age/mileage-specific maintenance due, check the official schedule so the garage carries out the required items rather than relying on a generic package name.

How to sense-check your quote

Confirm that parts, labour and VAT are included, then check whether plugs, brake fluid, fuel filter, cabin filter, gearbox oil or other scheduled items are additional. AutoAid's Quote Checker can compare the labour and job pricing once you have the garage's figure.

Got a service quote already?

AutoAid can sense-check the quoted labour, service wording and any additional repair items. Use your actual garage quote rather than treating a national starting price as a target every garage must match.

Service prices change and depend on the exact vehicle, location, provider and work due. AutoAid records the source and date checked, distinguishes starting prices from averages, and does not present these figures as a garage quotation.
