AA full service
From £187
The AA says at least 10% of UK Mobile Mechanics customers paid this price or less for the specific service between 1 April and 31 May 2026. Vehicle and location affect the quote.
Compare a current full-service starting price with RAC's latest published average quote, and see what a full service should normally cover.
A full service is typically the annual maintenance package for a conventional petrol or diesel car, but the manufacturer's own schedule is the final reference for what should be replaced at a particular age or mileage.

RAC full-service average
£298.60 average quote
RAC mobile mechanic full-service quotes collected from 1 September to 30 November 2025. RAC says the quotes include parts, labour and VAT for a standard service and are indicative rather than paid invoices.
The AA currently advertises a full service from £187, while RAC reports an average quoted full-service cost of £298.60 from its mobile-mechanic quote data. The difference is expected because one figure is a lower-end starting price and the other is an average.
The AA lists engine oil, oil filter and air filter replacement within its full service. RAC describes checks covering brakes, tyres, lights, exhaust, suspension, steering, battery and other systems. Always compare the actual checklist rather than the package name alone.
The AA and RAC both describe annual or roughly 12,000-mile intervals as a common pattern, but the correct interval is the one specified for your exact vehicle. Long-life and condition-based schedules can differ.
AutoAid can sense-check the quoted labour, service wording and any additional repair items. Use your actual garage quote rather than treating a national starting price as a target every garage must match.
